| | | | | | | | Background | The H-GAC Elder and Vulnerable Adult Justice Program provides regional support for establishing multi-disciplinary case review teams in each county as well as technical assistance, in-region training by national elder abuse experts, and a Regional Board of Experts. The program will also provide limited services directly to victims and their families through a regional intake line that offers crisis counseling and referrals to local service providers and through the recruitment and training of a new corps of volunteer victim advocates trained to serve at-risk seniors. |
