The Office of the Governor, Homeland Security Grants Division has notified H-GAC of the availability of funding for a reallocation of Fiscal Year 2016 State Homeland Security Program grant funds.

This project will allow us to purchase the equipment necessary to conduct the Advance Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training course throughout the region. The course is designed to prepare the first responder to isolate, distract, and neutralize an active shooter. The training kit includes: Active Shooter Course Seven (7) Case Training Kit and optional Active Shooter Training Kit Case eight (8): Case includes two (2) Automatic Rifle Converted weapons with case.
