The Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) acquired office space on the seventh floor of our primary office located at 3555 Timmons Lane, Houston, Texas 77027 for the Texas Workforce (TWC) Vocational Rehabilitation staff. TWC’s current lease expires at the end of August 2018. The new lease on the seventh floor was approved at the September 19, 2017 board meeting.

H-GAC solicited design and architect firms to provide professional services in assessing needs, designing appropriate, efficient work spaces, permitting, and to develop construction documents for the Interior Office Renovation at the main office located in Houston. This is a two-phase project, Phase 1 Design Services and Phase 2 Construction Services.

A committee of representatives from H-GAC, evaluated four qualifications submitted by firms on November 28, 2017. Based on the committee’s scoring and evaluations of the qualifications and interviews, the recommendations and rankings are shown below:
