For several years, San Jacinto College has provided funds to H-GAC in support of the regional workforce system.

San Jacinto College proposes adding $206,000 to its workforce system contribution.  Funds will pay for two Workforce Solutions ombudsman positions that will recruit and support individuals in training for employment in health care.  H-GAC will place funds with workforce system contractors to hire staff and carry out the work.

Again, San Jacinto College is providing about $206,000 for two more ombudsman positions from January through December 2018.
