FY17 LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING | | | |
| | | | | | | | Background | H-GAC has sponsored a regional law enforcement training program for over thirty years. The program supports the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officers approved training for officers throughout the region by contracting with local law enforcement training academies that meet state standards. H-GAC requested proposals from qualified law enforcement training academies for FY2017 in-service and basic training. Five proposals were received. The H-GAC Board of Directors approved the original Grant Awards totaling $361,000 for the FY2017 Law Enforcement Training Grant at their September 20, 2016 meeting. |
