| | | | | | | | | Background | Since January 2012, H-GAC has leased five (5) Canon multi-function printers on a month to month basis. These multi-function devices are in operation throughout the various departments within H-GAC. The average annual print count is approximately 700,000. |

| | | | | | | | | Current Situation | Recent upgrades to the security network have rendered the machines unable to connect to the network and the current equipment has reached end of life and is in need of upgrade. H-GAC staff reviewed proposals from Stewart Organization, Dahill, and ImageNet Consulting to provide a turn-key solution to supply leased multi-function printers, monitor and deliver toner as needed, and provide maintenance on the equipment.
It was determined that the proposal from Stewart Organization is the best overall value based on previous customer service experience, guaranteed service response time, and equipment offering. The lease is being offered under the State of Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) Cooperative Purchasing Program.
