In November 2021, the Board of Directors authorized Houston-Galveston Area Council to enter into Advance Funding Agreements with the Texas Department of Transportation for $2,700,000 to fund Mobility and Corridor Planning Studies Bundle consisting of seven planning studies and $2,500,000 to fund the High-Capacity Feasibility Studies Bundle consisting of four planning studies.

Staff is proposing to split the previously approved Mobility and Corridor Planning Studies Bundle into three Funding Agreements and the High-Capacity Feasibility Studies Bundle into two Funding Agreements to streamline the management of project activities and budget. The scopes of work and budgets for the studies remain unchanged. The project area maps are in the attachments. This action will only change how previously approved projects are administered.
